Three in 10 people in the United States believe President Barack Obama is a foreigner, according to a new poll from an international leader in market research who asked residents about their beliefs regarding the president’s birth place.
The survey was done by Angus Reid Global Monitor, a division of Vision Critical Group, which leverages “the world’s most advanced online research technology for interactive surveys, custom panels, private communities and virtual retail environments.”
The results of the survey, released today, said 70 percent of the respondents believe Obama was born in the U.S., “while 30 percent do not.”
“While only 13 percent of Democratic Party supporters believe Obama was not born in the U.S., the proportion rises to 25 percent among Independents and 51 percent among Republican Party backers,” the report said.
The issue is significant because while Obama secured a majority of the Electoral College votes in November 2008 to be installed as president, Article II of the U.S. Constitution establishes “that only ‘natural born’ American citizens are eligible to become presidents.”
The U.S. Constitution even provides that if an elected president is not qualified for the office, the vice president shall stand in for him until he is qualified.

Many are uninformed and the others won't even consider TRUTH if it stares them in the face. One of them just told me today (on another matter) that I should just stick to the truth … hers, of course. I try to listen and then use my common sense.

Beliefs of this type are pure speculation. They may be based upon past news reports that were never challenged by Barack Obama at the time or other sources. The fact is that this man, aided by congress and the courts, has gone to sit as president in a mysterious fashion since nothing factual about his life has been provided freely and what hasn't been offered is being fought by the US Department of Justice to keep hidden. That is preposterous especially concerning the fact he must show proof of eligibility to legitimately preside in the office. To date there is only one person that claims to know he does qualify and that person refuses to prove how they came to that conclusion. I suspect he may have been born in Kenya.
1. Because his father was a Kenyan citizen i suspect the proper definition of "natural born" citizen that the founding fathers had in mind was one who inherited his citizenship from his father because they excluded themselves and other citizens from this requirement. .then they fought the war on 1812 on the basis of forced british citizenship.
2. most of all though. I believe pretty firmly that obama and his mother went to pakistan on indonesian passports. This is further proof that he became an indonesian citizen and renounced his american citizenship. I have seen indonesian school information on the web listing him as an indonesian citizen. this could have been reclaimed by a mere oath of alliegance but there is no record of his doing that. at the time of voting he was not eligible to receive electoral college votes. so the election was a fraud. but what else is new.
Why does he not just show us his birth certificate ????
Where is the beef? Provide full disclosure on all the missing records Mr. Obama and then I am willing to, after I read those records, to call you Mr. President. If your not a US Citizen as defined by the US Constitution, then resign. I would understand and then treat you with the respect you earned.

I do not believe he is a "natural born citizen" – if he is, why won't he prove it to everyone to once and for all stop the debate! Could it be a power play – just to show everyone HE doesn't have to play by anyone's rules? Secondly, if the elected president in ineligible, how can the vice president serve "until he becomes eliglble"? If he/she is not eligible, under what circumstances can he/she become eligible later if not eligible at the time of his/her election and being sworn in as president???

Another item to be factored into the equation is; he is wealthy, but not the kind of wealthy that would enable him to spend over $l,000,000 in attorney fees to protect all his past from being revealed. It would be helpful to know just who is footing the bill for all the legal fees he is incurring to fight these court cases. The Democratic (Marxist) Party could be doing it. If so, they are deeply involved and could be guilty of a number of Federal crimes against the US. George Soros comes to mind as well as some extremely well healed ARABS who attempt to take over countries from the inside. What better place for an ARAB MARXIST to take over the United States than from inside the White House where nobody even bothers to acknowledge a question much less answer it? As to money, who is paying the $60,000 per child per year at the exclusive private school for his children? There are simply too many unanswered questions regarding Obama, past and present.
