So many people are asking what Republicans could have done different to win the election. Was Mitt Romney the right person to run against Barack Obama? Should Romney have been more aggressive in his attacks of Obama’s record and character?
To be honest, I don’t know of any Republican that could have won the election!
Why? Because God gave us the leader we deserve as a nation for turning away from His ways for unnatural ways. I truly believe that the 2012 election was a Romans 1 election. Read what Scripture says in verses 18-31:
“18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.”
“24Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.”
“26For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.”
“28And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Though they know God’s decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”
Does this not describe America today? Homosexuality has come out of the closet and taken center stage. Businesses have been extending benefits to homosexual partners. Laws have been passed to prevent anyone from discriminating against homosexuals because of their lifestyle. Same-sex marriages and unions are being legalized in more and more places. And preaching what the Bible says about homosexuality is now being labeled as a hate crime.
Romans 1 tells us that because our society has embraced these things, God is turning us over to unnatural lusts. He is giving us, as a nation, after our own desires. That means God has also given us the leaders we deserve and at the moment, America doesn’t deserve anything better than Barack Obama.
Jeremiah 5:29 tells us:
“Shall I not punish them for these things, declares the LORD, and shall I not avenge myself on a nation such as this?”
So where does that leave us as a nation now that Obama has been re-elected and America turns its face further away from God than ever before? Isaiah 60:12 holds the answer:
“For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.”
Yes, this was a Romans 1 election and America is looking at an Isaiah 60:12 future and it pains me to think of what our children and grandchildren will be facing when God’s wrath is directed at a nation that has turned its back on Him and His Word. God help us all!

Hallelujah! I praise the LORD for your faithfulness in sharing the truth here. Woe unto all who support those that suppress the truth and make unjust excuses. They seek to oppress the people with oppressive issues and decrees.
In His timing, God will execute justice and His judgment will be just in every way. All unrighteous actions will be judged and if there has been no repentance for one’s sins and the acceptance of Jesus as LORD and SAVIOR there are consequences with never ending retribution.
God has clearly given His Judgment for America… To read God’s judgment for America’s future or lack thereof, google: “The Message For America, Hand of Help Ministries.” For how I was led to this google: “Watchman On The Wall, America ~ Mystery Babylon?” For America’s 2nd major terrorist attack, google; “The Eagle and the Serpents, Hand of Help Ministries.” And again, what I believe will be the location of the 2nd attack, google: “Watchman On The Wall, The Eagle and the Serpents (Part 2).”
God has promised that America will be paid double for her iniquities.
We also sacrifice our children to idols, in the form of abortion. However, I choose to look at this election as a wake-up call for Christians. It took Christians to get him in office in 2008, and it took Christians to get him in office in 2012. He received 95% of the black vote. That means evangelical Christians had to vote for him. I worked at the polls in my voting precinct, and I saw several white people, who claim to be Christians, cast their vote for him. Setting homosexuality and abortion aside, no one who claims to be a Christian could cast a vote for anyone in the democrat party, simply because of the fact that, at the democratic national convention, they had to vote on whether to include God in their format or not. Yes, it won, but it wasn’t at all convincing. Even the guy who declared it passed knew it hadn’t, which means it was predetermined beforehand that it was going to win, whether it did or not.
Another point would be in our support of Israel. It is painfully obvious that obama does NOT care for Israel at all. He has done nothing to help them, shunning a meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu to appear on Letterman and The View. He does NOT represent Christian values whatsoever.
I am deeply ashamed of the people in our nation who could allow such an atrocity to continue.
I wish I could Dispute this, but I would just be Lieing to myself if I tried to. And besides, in order for Israel to be UNGUARDED, America needed to fall. Also read George Washingtons Vision, just for fun. But Israel had to be Unguarded for the World Armies to gather around her. That is what is about to happen.
@Vectorup…..yes, I believe you are right. The Bible says Israel will be alone and surrounded by the armies of the nations. This could not happen while Americas President stood for Israel, thus the reason we have Obama. And this article would be partly correct. Many Evangelicals , millions of them , could not bring themselves to vote for a Mormon president , so they chose the Muslim Marxist instead, by the simple act of not voting at all…A similar analogy would be to stand by while a crime is being committed, and do nothing, there by aligning ones self with the criminals in silent complicity..in order to not get involved…a modern order of Pharisees, for they did not stop the GREATER evil, but stood aside in disdain, just as in olden times. God had a purpose for the Pharisees even today. Thats why He allowed only two options, the Mormon, or the Muslim Marxist, and the Evangelicals chose neither.

This sure tells the story of America today. For us believers it makes us sad to know that our greatgrandchildren and future generations will ever have the experience to live in the wonderful America as we have been so lucky to live in it.
Be of Good CHEER. After the Lord returns, we will have a Thousand years of PEACE and Clean Living. He will return shortly after the Nuclear Winter starts. That is when he says, he will Part the Dark Clouds, and Every Eye will see him do it.
Glad that you are a Christian and see things from a biblical view. I am, too, and have been knowledgeable of the prophetic scriptures probably from before you were born.
I think you have prophetic events a little off the biblical order and timeline. Where are you getting the “Nuclear Winter” from? Don’t try to tell me, because you seem to need some guidance as to the events of the Great Tribulation and Pre-Trib happenings. God bless you, though, and do some more study – Like the minor prophets, too, as well as Daniel, Ezekiel, Rev., etc., and compare scripture with scripture. There is a whole lot more.
The Nuclear winter is the Same as when the Sun shall be Darkened, and the Moon will not give her light, and the Coming of the Lord will be with Thick Clouds, when he Rolls back the Clouds like a Scroll, and all those who are alive and remain will be changed and meet him in the Air. When we see him, we will be like him. That is also the time the Angels go to gather the Dead in Christ to meet him in the air. The last part of Matt 24 tells it from Jesus own mouth.

I’m glad I have been able to read this post today. It has seemed to give me some answers I’ve been racking my brain over to understand. Thank you, everyone.
I could not agree more with this article. All throughout the Bible God judged those who supported and practiced homosexuality. And it will be no different with America.
There is a verse in Pslams that also fits America
Psalm 9:17
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
America has been active in trying to “forget God” and turn to all sorts of perversion. It is only a matter of time before God pours out His judgement, not only on America, but on a sinful and perverse world.
These storms that we’ve had in recent days, just may be a warning shot over the bow of the great ship America.
The Bible speaks of wars, rumors of wars, pestilence, storms and all sorts of other things happening just before the return of Christ.
May God have mercy on our souls.

Yes, I can see how Biblical scripture can be related to America and its demise. I would like to change it, but I cannot violate the law of the land for my own personal belief system. The question comes to me that has never been answered for me, ever! What can one person do? Just what can he do? Many of us do not have the qualities of leadership, so we know not where to move or what to do. It appears that with enough personal imagery (charisma), we may succeed somewhat, but often not long enough to make any change. Our country is in a mess; it is divided and it has turned away from it’s creator, a sure step in the wrong direction. I know not what to do, I do not. I am lost……..
Jesus words were ” see that you be not troubled , for all these things must come to pass ”
Remember this if you are a believer. GOD IS in control, nothing happens without His Knowledge, or permission, Satans power is restricted, and is allowed to work only according to Gods purposes..
You are not lost, God said in Scripture that mens hearts would tremble in fear in these last days, but He also said ” Lift thine eyes up unto the hills, from whence cometh your help? Thy help cometh from the Lord Who made heaven and earth…” So thats where our strength lies, resist evil, do good, and pray, God will do the rest!
