Video: White House Refuses To Answer About Obama Blagojevich Connection

Obama has lied, and the White House is trying to cover it up! Obama said he had no contact with Blagojevich, and even that he “was not aware of what was happening.”

This is a blatant lie considering that it has been revealed in the Blagojevich case that Obama called a local union leader the day before the election to get him to communicate with Blagojevich about his favorite pick for Senate, Valerie Jarrett.

Now the White House is trying to cover it up and refusing to answer about it, hoping that the mass media will forget it and pass it by.

Don’t let this be passed by! Obama has lied. Get the word out and forward this page and video to anyone you know who is concerned about America’s future.

This is a transcript and video of the White House Press Briefing from 6-29-10. The White House refuses to answer about allegations that Obama communicated with Blagojevich through a middleman, which formerly had been denied by Obama.

MR.GIBBS: Yes, Ann.

Q Tom Balanoff is a local labor leader in Chicago and in testimony today at the Blagojevich trial he talks about a phone call that he got from Barack Obama on Monday evening before the Tuesday election, at which he quotes Mr. Obama as saying that he thinks Valerie Jarrett should be a United States senator, that she fits the criteria; “I would prefer that she remain working for President Obama, but she does want to be Senator.” And Balanoff said he told the soon-to-be President, “I said, ‘Thank you, I’m going to reach out to Governor Blagojevich with that.’” Did the President make that phone call?

MR. GIBBS: You’re telling me about this testimony. I’m not going to get into commenting on obviously an ongoing trial. And I have had not had an opportunity to see that.

Q But you’ve said before that the President did not get involved with the suggestions or the conversations with Blagojevich.

MR. GIBBS: Ann, I’m just not going to get into commenting on an ongoing trial.

Reward: $100,000 For Full ‘JournoList’ Archive; Source Fully Protected

I’ve had $100,000 burning in my pocket for the last three months and I’d really like to spend it on a worthy cause. So how about this: in the interests of journalistic transparency, and to offer the American public a unique insight in the workings of the Democrat-Media Complex, I’m offering $100,000 for the full “JournoList” archive, source fully protected. Now there’s an offer somebody can’t refuse.

Yes, the mainstream media that came together to play up the false allegations that the “N-Word” was hurled 15 times by Tea Party participants at the Congressional Black Caucus outside the Capitol the day before the “Obamacare” vote, is the same MSM that colluded to make sure the American public accepted the smear, and refused to show the exculpatory videos that disproved the incendiary charges of Tea Party racism.

Ezra Klein’s “JournoList 400” is the epitome of progressive and liberal collusion that conservatives, Tea Partiers, moderates and many independents have long suspected and feared exists at the heart of contemporary American political journalism. Now that collusion has been exposed when one of the weakest links in that cabal, Dave Weigel, was outed. Weigel was, in all likelihood, exposed because – to whoever the rat was who leaked his emails — he wasn’t liberal enough.

When the “N-word” controversy turned out to be an almost certain falsehood, Weigel had the professional courage to come out against 399 of his “JournoList” peers when he wrote:

I think we’ve seen a paradigm shift, and that the March 20 story will be remembered by conservatives as evidence of how the media accepts attacks on conservatives without due diligence.

Tom Brokaw Refers To Western Governor As A “Democrat – From Our Party” – Video

There are times when you listen to something you do a double-take and wonder if you are hearing what you thought you heard. This clip is one of those.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

The video clip is of former NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw talking to Matt Lauer about conversations he’s had recently with people around the country about how President Obama is doing. Brokaw mentions several different Republicans and Democrats he’s talked to. But at one point, he says the following:

“A Western Governor said “We’re losing Independents.” He’s a Democrat – from our party.”

I’ve tried to figure out some other meaning to why Brokaw would add, “from our party,” but it sure sounds like Brokaw openly identified himself – and maybe Lauer, as Democrats by the statement.

CNN’s ‘Larry King Live’ Is Ending After 25 Years

After a quarter century, Larry King announced tonight that he will be ending the long-standing “Larry King Live” show this fall but will stay on in some unspecified capacity at CNN.

He said he plans to do specials and spend more time with his family. “It’s time to hang up the nightly suspenders,” he said on his show at 9 p.m. “Until then, we have more shows to do and who knows what the future will bring.”

“There was no pressure from CNN,” he told guest Bill Maher. “It was time.” He also said there was no pressure from the media hordes. “I want new horizons and try other things,” he said. “There’s a freedom.” He noted he has done more than 50,000 interviews.

Reports have Piers Morgan as a possible replacement.

Here’s the memo sent out by CNN/US president Jon Klein, who declined to say anything about King’s departure last Wednesday after the Eliot Spitzer/Kathleen Parker announcement:

Glenn Beck Sells Over 132,000 Copies Of The Overton Window In A Week

According to Nielsen Bookscan figures, conservative host Glenn Beck sold over 132,000 copies of The Overton Window in a single week–topping the bestseller list in the process. Follow this link to watch the thriller’s surreal book trailer.

Daily Finance profiled Beck’s literary track record in an article this morning, listing some serious bookselling figures from the literary lion. In a world of dwindling review and publicity outlets for authors, Beck has become a serious literary force.

Here’s an excerpt: “Beck has turned into a literary tastemaker and for the authors he’s interviewed on his programs and their publishers, the results are staggering. George Washington’s Sacred Fire, Peter Lillback’s 1,200-page biography first published by the tiny Providence Forum Press in 2006, has sold more than 45,000 copies this year, according to Bookscan. The vast majority of those sales coming after Lilliback appeared on Beck’s television show in mid-May.”

Appeals Panel Considers Whether Obama Is Even American

Three judges on the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals are beginning to review a case that alleges Barack Obama is not eligible to be president – in fact, he may not even be American.

Barack Obama American flag SC Appeals panel considers whether Obama is even AmericanThe federal court case was brought by attorney Mario Apuzzo on behalf of plaintiffs Charles Kerchner and others, and had been dismissed at the district court level.

Arguments earlier had been scheduled for June 29 in the dispute, but a court order recently cancelled the hearing and instead announced the case would be decided based on the merits of the legal briefs submitted by attorneys.

A document from court clerk Marcia Waldron said the case will be decided by Judge Dolores Sloviter, who was appointed by Jimmy Carter; Maryanne Trump Barry, who was appointed by Bill Clinton; and Thomas Hardiman, who was appointed by George W. Bush.

Not Even 4 In 10 Believe Obama Birth Story

Barack Obama between flags SC Not even 4 in 10 believe Obama birth story

Not even four in 10 people across America believe President Obama’s narrative about being born in Hawaii, according to a new poll.

A new 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll shows that only 39 percent of respondents believe Obama was born in Hawaii as he wrote in his book.

The magazine boasted, “A whopping 63 percent – very nearly two-thirds of us – went out on a limb and stated for the record that we believe in the United States. It’s enough to make you proud to be an American – or 63 percent proud, at any rate.”

But that included those who say they believe he was born in Kansas or some other unknown state, which still would conflict with Obama’s narrative.

The question asked, “Do you think Barack Obama was BORN IN the United States, or do you think he was born in another country?”

Al Gore And The Media Protection Racket

The Al Gore police report is disturbing.

To be specific, it’s 67 pages of the quite graphically disturbing, as posted here by Red State.

You are reading the news of this police report — originally filed in October of 2006 — only because the National Enquirer scooped the story. In June of 2010. You did not read it in the Portland Tribune, which has been on this story since 2007 and failed to tell its readers until the Enquirer broke the story. The Tribune’s explanation for this is to be found here.

Then there’s the interesting news that Kathleen Parker, she the “conservative” columnist who has gained renown in liberal quarters for Palin-bashing, has been selected by CNN to partner (so-to-speak) on a new political chat show with Client Number 9 for a rousing — according to press reports — $700,000. Client Number 9, of course, would be former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, who was identified as such by the investigating feds curious about the ex-crime busting state attorney general’s passion for expensive prostitutes. Said passions led to Mr. Spitzer’s resignation as governor.

Next up is the recent news that the Washington Post’s David Weigel (who has occasionally written here at TAS), hired to blog about conservatives, has resigned after e-mails came to light that suggested he hoped Rush Limbaugh died and said that Matt Drudge should “handle his emotional problems more responsibly and set himself on fire.” Not content with this, the Post’s longtime media reporter Howard Kurtz tells us Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller has Weigel writing behind the scenes that “conservatives were using the media to ‘violently, angrily divide America’ and lamenting news organizations’ ‘need to give equal/extra time to ‘real American’ views, no matter how [expletive] moronic.’”

Hawaii Elections Official Victim Of Vicious Smears

The former Honolulu elections official who alleges Barack Obama was “definitely” not born in Hawaii and that no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate even exists for the president in the Aloha State now says he’s the victim of a vicious smear campaign, threatening his position as an instructor at Western Kentucky University.

timadams Hawaii elections official victim of vicious smears

“There have been attempts by various parties, some bloggers and others to attempt to discredit [my] claims, but none of them has held up to any scrutiny or rebuttal,” Tim Adams, the former senior elections clerk in 2008 for the city and county of Honolulu, is now telling WND.

“My university was deluged with phone calls and e-mails, many of which were either supportive or neutral, but some folks took it upon themselves to actively try and smear or oust me.”

He also says he’s experienced “some minor inconveniences.”

“My computer, e-mails, financial records and school records have all be subjected to fishing expeditions by various authorities. Strange, I’m still here.”

Tim Adams, the former senior elections clerk for Honolulu, says President Obama was “definitely” not born in Hawaii, and a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama does not exist in the state.

Adams, 45, a Hillary Clinton supporter who now teaches English while he works on his master’s degree, burst onto the national scene in a WND story June 10 in which he asserted Obama was not born in Hawaii as the White House maintains.

McChrystal Leans Left, Banned Fox News From Headquarters

After this week’s devastating Rolling Stone profile of Stanley McChrystal, Jon Stewart imagined what was going through the general’s head when he agreed to the interview that cost him his job.

“I may be a four-star general and you may be a reporter for some hippie magazine, but I feel like I can trust you,” the “Daily Show” host joked.

Maybe the brash McChrystal had more in common with Rolling Stone’s “hippie” editors than one might expect.

The Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder reports that the hard-charging McChrystal not only voted for Barack Obama but is a “political liberal” and “social liberal.” Of course, not all military leaders are conservative, but popular lore since at least George Patton’s day has hard-charging generals on the ground leaning mostly to the right.

Ambinder adds that the general wasn’t a fan of the cable news network that appears most pro-military, boasting commentators like Sean Hannity and Oliver North.

“He banned Fox News from the television sets in his headquarters,” Ambinder wrote. “Yes, really. This puts to rest another false rumor: that McChrystal deliberately precipitated his firing because he wants to run for president.”
